10 years... wow. :o

Anyway, nice animation, but 5 stars for Mr. Bungle's Chemical Romance.

Hey!! I remember this film!

Great to see it again, and on Newgrounds, no less. :)

Still a great story after the years it's been since I saw this last. Really, the story is just as great and individual as the animation itself. Feels like the story has been told before, but really, I can't think of where or when, except for this film.

Btw, I love your art style, it rocks.

Faved!

I LOVE IT.

It seamlessly combines the genres of comedy, drama, and thriller into an engaging, full blown animation that really speaks for itself.

I'm absolutely blown away. It's groundbreaking.

Thank you very much

I don't think I'll see beards the same way now...

Well, this is a nice surprise to the portal. Stick animations never get old. :) I honestly thought it would be a game though... would be fun, eh? (Hint hint)

The drawings are... simple, concerning they're mostly stick figures, but are otherwise nice and seem to work. They don't always seem consistent, however, as you used pictures of a city and a nightclub to create a scene instead of drawing them in flash (though I can't say I blame you. I hate drawing cities/towns/buildings/etc, myself. :P). The odd change from drawings to photos sort of bugs me. It might've worked better if it was used for a comical effect.

The animation is the highlight of this flash. It's superb, insane, and... well, fluid. I might note, however, that there were a few frame rate hiccups here and there but were otherwise forgivable.

The audio is pretty good. The music, while not original, works well with the animation, and the sounds fit and work with the elements and scenes. I didn't really like the main bad guy's voice acting though... it seemed like it was just a little below par, if you know what I mean.

Though I was hoping for, but wasn't really expecting one in the first place, a plot, there really isn't much of one at all. Just mindless, destructive, gory, action-packed goodness that lead from one place to another. Oh well, it's still awesome.

One other thing: Hit the replay button. It takes you to the beginning of the nightclub fight scene. :P

Overall, I think this is a neat little flash with great animation, despite a few frame rate issues, and is definitely a lot of fun to watch the bloody, unhumane deaths of the stick men portrayed. I'm also going to assume that there will be a part 2, with the cliffhanger ending, and what not.

Good job, dude. :D But... you might want to fix the replay button.

This is just plain awesome!

Wow. What a... departure, you might say... from the first. I wasn't expecting a music video or even a continuation of the first! I was expecting a whole new scenario and characters, but I guess I expected wrong. :O

First, let me just say that I love your style. The art is amazing! The graphics are wonderful and they make the scenes feel very open (i.e, it has a great sense of depth that makes the enviroments and places for the characters feel spacious, rather than closed in). The moments in the movie match up with the music and make it even more enjoyable than it already is. The shading is great and sets a fitting mood. The animation is beautifully smooth and, I would say, is the definite highlight to the flash.

The audio is great. The music is as catchy as heck and the lip syncing with the animation is well done. The sounds seem to keep in time with the beats of the music too. The whistle sound effect was arguably a tad loud, but that's my only critisism about the audio, because everything else is great.

I found some parts pretty funny. A few of the facial expressions were pretty funny looking, and the gravestones had some pretty hilarious messages on them that had me laughing a bit. :)

There were some frame rate issues here and there but nothing serious... they didn't keep me from enjoying this great flash anyway.

Overall, I found this to be an excellent sequel to the first and also a great example of a music video... let alone, a flash. I also, despite seeing this just today, find this to be very nostlagic, and will probably remain nostalgic to me for years to come. I really hope there'll be another installment to this series in a few Halloweens or so; this is simply fantastic!

Also, the song is stuck in my head. Thanks. Lol

Hm...

I wholly agree with all of the points Jimbo-Limbo makes; a very good review.

The graphics, animations, and fx are all great and the style itself seems consistent. However, like Jimbo-Limbo said, the shading doesn't seem consistent all of the time and some things do feel out-of-place on occasion. For instance, the blue blob's lighting at the beginning was a little strange. While the bright moonlight bounced off of the main character it did not bounce off of the blob, which made the main character brightly lit and the blob dully lit. Nonetheless it's easy to tell you've definitely put some time into drawing this.

The audio is wonderful. The music is fitting for a halloween submision and the sound fx are well chosen. The voice acting, though, is the strongest point of the audio and, possibly, the whole animation. It is extremely well done all over.

The humour is, I once again agree with Jimbo-Limbo, meh. In my opinion there are too many gay jokes nowadays and are getting pretty old. However the voice acting makes some parts pretty funny...

Overall, it's a pretty nice animation graphics wise, but the humour falls short a bit. The audio is fantastic and is probably the strongest point of the animation.

Nice work with this one. And good luck indeed! :)

Funny as heck!

This movie is great from start to finish!

The drawings and animation are both hilarious looking; especially Ash's. They're otherwise pretty well done, too.

The voice acting is just perfect. Not in quality, but it matches perfectly with the drawings and animations. The background music is well chosen and compliments the hilarity of the artwork quite well.

The humour is downright hilarious! I laughed hysterically the first time I saw this flash and still do. I love it when Ash slams his own head in the door! XD Priceless! Also, "Nobody cares! Nobody loves you! Your own grandfather doesn't know your name!" was great too.

This is a fantastic parody and one of my favorites on the site. I have to ask though- what was the song before the start of the movie? The one playing on the caution sign scene with the play button?

Haha, this is funny. :D

Some people are taking this way too seriously. Do us a favor and lighten up a bit. >_<

I really enjoyed this. I personally love this type of humor where it's so stupid that it's funny. Your voice and accent were hilarious and worked great. The graphics are... poor, you might say, but are perfect for this stupid type of humour, so I can't say they bother me.

Had I taken this seriously I would've given this a very negative review around 1 or 2 stars. But it's obviously meant to be poorly done and, unfortunately, some people can't see that. It's true that not everyone will find these types of flash submissions funny but I do, and I did this one.

Thanks for uploading, dude; this made me laugh. :)

thanks for reviewing, and also your welcome :D

Ah, yes...

...I never got to writing a review on this one.

The graphics style is awesome. And gory. It also seems consistent and doesn't seem to deviate from one style to another, so that's good. The animations are fantastic, especially on the opening fight scene.

The movie is hilarious all over! I find myself lolling over so many parts no matter how many times I watch it.

The audio is fantastic. The music fits perfectly as well as the sounds. The voice acting is nothing short of superb and is some of the best I've seen for a flash.

There are only 2 mishaps I've noticed. The 3-D sword effect in the beginning fight scene seems to slow down the frame rate a bit. This is understandable and also forgivable, because it's still pretty cool looking. The other one also concerns frame rate: it's at the steed scene where the camera zooms in on the assassin. That's forgivable as well, and doesn't ruin the movie because of it. Those are the only two things I found "wrong", if you will, in the movie, but are otherwise not really big deals.

Overall, this is an excellent, solid, and downright hilarious second episode, I must say, and I must commend you for doing a great job.

Therefore, great job! :D
